Your business, band, hobby or blog deserves a website that stands out and is search engine friendly! Feel The Fire Studio offers websites with a lot of attention to design. I’m not afraid to add some colour to your site – but we can also work with a basic design, we’ll work closely together to get it the way you want! And we’ll do it for a reasonable price!

I have been making websites since 1998. I taught myself HTML and CSS, work with Photoshop and over the years my knowledge grew with each site. Since 2007 I specialize in WordPress. I’ve made sites for musicians, small businesses, organizations, vacation rentals and personal blogs. You can have a look at my portfolio to get an idea what I can do! Don’t hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any questions! 🙂

Web Hosting

I do not offer hosting at this moment. If you don’t have anything yet, you’ll need a domain name and a place for your website with a web hosting company . It’s best that you register that in your own name and of course I can help you go through those steps. You can usually (but don’t have to) register the domain of your choice with your web host. There are many web host companies out there and I can help you make your choice.

Antagonist – this Dutch web host is hands down best one I ever worked with. They are honest and innovative. Their website is in Dutch, but your account, admin panel and such are all in English and you can email their team in English any time. I have been sending Dutch clients there since they came in business and offered affordable one-website accounts. Nowadays they have more extensive options and I have moved all my own websites there!

HostMDS (affiliate link) – the Canadian host I loved best before I “moved” to Antagonist. I still take North-American clients there! If you sign up through my link, I get a small fee for sending you there 🙂

One name that keeps popping up in recommendations for best hosting is SiteGround. Dreamhost also gets thumbs up. I have no personal experience with these, but their reputation is phenomenal. The ones to stay away from are the EIG owned ones like Hostgator, Ipage, Bluehost or Domain.com (and dozens more) because of bad service and malpractices from what I can see. And I say this after more than a decade with Hostgator until they were bought by EIG.
